Pastor Fee teaches us that discouragement comes to all of us at times, but we don’t have to remain in that condition. Although it often feels like a trap from which there is no escape, every believer has a choice to either stay in a pit of discouragement or to get out. It all depends upon our perspective. If we focus on our difficult circumstances and negative feelings, we can easily be drawn into despair and depression. But when we fix our eyes on our great, encouraging God, He lifts us up and sets us free. Jesus our God gives both perseverance and encouragement so that we can have hope. Pastor Fee will be teaching from the Book Romans 15:4-6 and his message is entitled: “Jesus Our Encourager”
